<b>iconv_close</b> function deallocates a conversion
descriptor <i>cd</i> previously allocated using
<b>iconv_open</b>.</p>
<h2>RETURN VALUE

</h2>
<p style="margin-left:11%; margin-top: 1em">When
successful, the <b>iconv_close</b> function returns 0. In
case of error, it sets <b>errno</b> and returns
−1.</p>
